No Creative Work

This is my favorite place to go. I try to go once a week. It is a old Indian mineral springs at Alvia Beach which is about 35 minutes from my home. The mineral springs water is usually 102 degrees. Sulfur is one of the minerals, so it smells some.
This is the wonderful pool with the view of the mountain that the springs flows down from. The water is usually very nice in temperture.
We will be moving sometime this week to a hotel so the work can be done in our house from the water damage we had in January. I have had to break down all of my sewing and move my stash. I have moved my creative skills to the garden for now.

Walking Around

Some days it is so nice to take a look and observe what is around you as you walk along your road. I was up in San Luis Obispo and this a very old mission and a cute little fountain in front for enjoyement.

The Rest

This is the rest of the several course dinner in Paris. Now will be the test to see how much I can remember.
This was a scallop with green caviar and a root vegetable in small squares. A flower from a squash.
This one was a couple of layers of pastry with a sauce and lettuce.
 This was lobster bisque.
This was a flaming piece of rosmary. A wonderful piece of steack and very interesting vegetables.
 A lemon cookie.
This was under the cookie. Very bland like yogurt.
Thin slice apple. I can't remember what it covered.
A slender piece of brownie decorated with fruit.
These were thin slices of pineapple with yogurt. Then this was the basin in the bathroom.

Time Change

Well I am in the process of the time change. We flew back on the 25th and it sure is taking a long time to get back on California time. It was so cold and snowing when we left Paris. I knew it could snow in Paris, but I didn't know that it could get so cold. By the time we left there was at least 2 inches of snow on the ground. It took me nine hours from Paris to Washington DC and then six hours to Los Angeles. After waiting two hours I was able to board a plane to Santa Maria. Santa Maria was fogged over, so the plane had to land in San Luis Obispo. It is about 45 minutes from our house. My husband had to drive up and get me. We didn't get home until 2:00 am. I am almost unpacked and getting my clothes washed, so that is a start. Getting some food in the house was a challenge. So that brings me just thinking of all the delicious food in France.
Continuing on our several course dinner. I am not sure what all of these were, but they tasted good and were arranged a small piece of pastry.
This was a radish flower in some sauce and pansy petals.
This one was a little yogurt with a peanut in the middle.
This was the chiefs place settings with his logo on it. Now we have moved to the dining room to eat the next part of the dinner.
They had this cutting table full of bread and a box arranged with more breads to choose from. We didn't want to fill up on bread, so let it go.
