Then I waxed here and there with a brush(Batiki) and then dyed the fabric in Navy blue. Again let it set covered in plastic for 24 hours. The under colors show through in some places. These are the wood blocks that I used to emboss the velvet.
I have been working to complete this for a while. This is two yards of rayon/silk velvet stretched on a frame. I used several bright procion dye colors and let it set for 24 hours covered in plastic.

And some gorgeous new fabrics for those new, smaller clothes!
Thank you for noticing. Now I have to decide what to make out of it. I am going to wait until I get to the weight I would like to be at so that I have something to have as a goal.

I really like your wood stamps. Where did you get them? Congrats on the weight loss.
I got the wood stamps at a LA wearable art vendor at a meeting that I went to quite a while ago. I know that wood stamps are hard to find and I wish I could tell you somewhere to find them.
