This is a shirt for my granddaughter. She started sewing on it and then our time ran out, so I took it home and finished it. It is in the mail to her today. Her eyes really popped when she saw the cup cakes. I think she will be in when she wears it to school next week. Hopefully next time we are together there will be time for her to complete a clothes item. She learned all the skills in our last time together. Isn't it great for us to be able to pass on to the younger generation. I can remember a aunt that taught me how to embroider when I was five years old.

Not only are you teaching her a wonderful skill, as time goes on, she will cherish these memories. I know I cherish the memories of the time spent with my grandmother and all the patience that she had with me.
