More of Sweden

The cruise ended at Stockholm. It was one of my favorite places. I really liked the style of the buildings.

This is some of the locks that we went through on the boat on our way to Stockholm.

Goto Canal in Sweden

The boat was restored and was built in 1878. We spent four days and three nights on the boat. There were 66 locks to go through. We left from Gotenburg and ended in Stockholm.

Flowers in Sweden

Wild lupines were all along the sides of the roads.
My very favorite lilacs were in bloom. Some colors I had never seen before.

Copehagen

Many herbs right on the sidewalk at a little market looked very inviting.

Yes, she was there for us to look at.

A look at London

You can still make a land telephone call in London.
Big Ben struck 4:00 in the afternoon when we were there.
Everyone has to see the palace. It sure is grand looking.

A Trip to Europe included five countries.

I feel very blessed, with the help of my Dad my husband and I were able to spend three weeks in europe. What a trip. It was so very beautiful and every country showed us their beautiful spring flowers and new leaves on their trees.

This was Ireland. We rented a car and the roads were so narrow and driving on the other side then we are used to makes it a challenge.

My husband surprised me and rented a old thatched roof cottage that had been passed down through three generations for four days. The thatched roof houses are disappearing, so this was quite special.
This was the garage.
