Jacket

This is the first LoriAnne pattern that I have made. I was introduced to her patterns at the Sew Expo. I really like how it fits and turned out. Her designs are made to accent the pluses of our bodies.
It is hard to see the style lines since this is done in a dark color. The fabric was a silk piece I had in my stash. It is small black and brown check and then I trimmed it with black silk. Added a couple buttons I got from a estate sale. Her sizes run different the big four. I used a 12 and in a big four I would be a medium or 16.
It really does compliment the waist. This will be the jacket I take with me to Paris.

Another T-Shirt

I made another one of Marcy's T-Shirts. It is V9057 View A. This is probably my favorite. I have made it a few times. I like the sleeve. I have used the sleeve on another t-shirt pattern.
The fabric pattern made this shirt even more interesting.

B6290

This is Katherine Tilton's recent T-shirt pattern. I made View D.
The design of it made it easy to put a zipper across the front.

I like the underarm has a piece added. I like this one, but found it to run big, so the next time I make it I will make a small.

Sandra Betzina's Pants

You have seen the vest before. It is Katherine Tilton's. The fabric was from Marcy Tilton and is reversible, so it made it easy to turn the pieces different ways. I made the view B.
I like the way the pants turned out. The fabric is a knit and fit quit nice. I like the elastic band around the waist.

My new Paris Vest

I used Marcy's Jacket pattern V8430 with out the sleeves.

I used Marcy's silk screen of the Eiffel Tower. I will be leaving on May 2nd to go on Marcy and Katherine's Paris trip. As to what they have shared so far it sounds so fun.

Jacket

I began this year by doing this jacket that has been unfinished for quite some time. I had planned on doing all my unfinished projects this year, but so far this is the only one to get completed.
I pieced together some commercial fabric and some of my hand dyed fabric. Free motioned the fabric with my machine.

I hand dyed and foiled with gold the interfacing. Then added a piping. I enjoy seeing how I can make the inside look interesting.
I lined it with silk. Added some colorful rayon for a lining yoke. Then a friend embroidered my name on her machine and that looked like it would add to the inside as well.
Did some covered buttons. Added some piping and some chinese medallion for decoration.
Had a good time with this one.

Another Vest

This is the same pattern Artist in Motion of Louise Cutting. This time I made it from cotton voile.
It washes up with  a few wrinkles. Nice effect.
