I don't even know the name of this one. Every spring and fall Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens has a bulb sale. They have some very unusual ones and this is one of the ones that I got last fall. It was quite fun to see how it looks.

We had fun in class today. My student Jean is ironing her scarf and putting on the final touches for the final showing.Emily is admiring the unveiling.
And Jean looks happy with the results. She tyed some glass stones with string in her scarf before she added the dye. Totally cool results Jean.

One of the women decided to have a chicken party. Here are all the chickens displayed.
We were suppose to wear feathers to the party. One of the women decorated this hat for her husband to wear to the party.
Here is a picture of the chickens with four of the women who made chickens. One of the women's husband has this red sports car and thought it would make a perfect presentation of the chickens.

I attended a workshop learning Trapanto a while ago. I decided to make six place mats and napkins for a niece's wedding. It took a lot longer then I thought it would. It is a lot of work. My idea is that I would like to make a jacket with Trapanto on it and this was a good way to practice. I have a nephew who is getting married in September so I am going to make one more set and then I will be ready for a jacket.
