This was rather interesting. I had dyed this piece of fabric with golden yellow and then with tangerine. I hadn't used the dye sticks that I had purchased a while back so I used the plastic board you see for a rubbing board under the fabric and I thought it made a interesting design.

This is a piece of silk noil that I had dyed with olive drab procion dye. I did it twice because I didn't like the color and still didn't. So I took a brush with discharge paste and now I like it and one of these days it will get made up in something.

This is a jacket I made from my dyed fabrics that I did with procion dye. The main part is red wine dye. The collar and sleeves are Better Black. The sleeves are done in free motion to give them a quilted look. They were just muslin to begin with. The collar you can't see the detail, but it is stamped with Fabrico stamp pad ink with a rubber stamp, a toilet roll and a half of a coconut. This black t-shirt was silk screened with discharge paste.

When I was in a train station they had many magazine so I wanted to see what was going on in europe in the creative world. This magazine is from England and had many interesting art works. The cover has a necklace that was done with a mold and looks very unique. The page that is open is picture done in fabric.
While I was on my trip I bought yarn to make socks. They had some beautiful yarns. They are from Ireland, Sweden, Italy, Germany and Norway. The sock that I have gotten one made for my husband Jim is cashmere from Italy and feels so soft on his foot. He is anxiously waiting for the other one.

I feel very blessed, with the help of my Dad my husband and I were able to spend three weeks in europe. What a trip. It was so very beautiful and every country showed us their beautiful spring flowers and new leaves on their trees.
This was Ireland. We rented a car and the roads were so narrow and driving on the other side then we are used to makes it a challenge.
My husband surprised me and rented a old thatched roof cottage that had been passed down through three generations for four days. The thatched roof houses are disappearing, so this was quite special.
This was the garage.
